Studio Nine covered this ConnectPro Happy Hour at The Pickle Factory in Bel Air, Maryland on February 17 — an event that managed to combine a chili cookoff competition, live pickleball, and genuine professional networking into one genuinely fun evening.
The format was unlike anything on the typical chamber event calendar. Eight competitors brought their best chili recipes and went head-to-head for a $300 top prize, with every attendee serving as a judge. The first 75 people through the door received a free drink ticket. Three pickleball courts ran casual matches throughout the night. And somehow, in the middle of all of it, real connections were being made.
