Hosted on March 26, 2026, the "Mocks & Socks Ignite the Network" networking event hosted by the Cecil County Chamber of Commerce brought together local businesses, entrepreneurs, and families for an evening that managed to be equal parts professional mixer, community marketplace, and celebration of local culture. Studio Nine was on the ground for all of it.
The centerpiece of the night was the Great Mocktail Throwdown — a head-to-head competition where local businesses crafted their signature alcohol-free libations and put them up for a crowd vote, all competing for the coveted Sinking Springs Stein Trophy. Beyond the competition, a curated vendor marketplace gave attendees a chance to discover and support local brands, while the "Socks" mission added real heart to the evening — collecting new socks and non-perishable food items to benefit local community organizations.
From the first handshake to the last raffle draw, Studio Nine captured every layer — the competition, the commerce, and the community showing up for itself.
